The WIAA is divided into nine activity districts, each of which represents an approximate geographical area (district membership is determined leagues, with the exception that the 3A/4A Columbia Basin Conference and the 2A CWAC are composed of schools from two different districts).  Each district is administered by a district director, and contains one or more member leagues.
